Skills 4 Life

The project "SKILLS 4 LIFE - Promoting the Transition to Active Life through Gamification and Game-Based Learning" proposes the implementation of a wide range of learning activities to support institutionalised young people to improve their preparation for the transition to adult life by utilising and developing their skills. This will familiarise them with the skills needed for adult life, both from a professional perspective and from a personal and social perspective.

It's about developing and putting into practice the skills, capacities and competences needed to feel prepared, integrated and accompanied.

It is well known that institutionalised young people are at a disadvantage compared to their peers of the same age. They find it difficult to cope with the challenges and difficulties they face. These challenges can end up leading to social exclusion, long-term unemployment or participation in risky behaviour.

The project will develop the following resources:

  • Design, development and validation of the Skills4Life game
  • SKILLS4LIFE Training Package for Adult Educators
  • SKILLS4LIFE Community Involvement and Outreach
